Custom cabinetry costs more than stock or semi-custom cabinets, and there's a real reason for it. Stock cabinets use particleboard boxes, stapled drawer bottoms, and cam-lock joinery. They fit standard openings, not your specific walls, and they're built to a price point, not a quality standard.
Our kitchen cabinets start at around $850 per linear foot installed. That's all-in: design, materials, build, finish, and installation. A modest 15-foot kitchen run runs roughly $12,000 to $18,000 depending on species and complexity. For that, you get cabinets that will last 40 years, not 10.
Our current lead time is 8 to 12 weeks from signed contract to installation. We hold your spot in the schedule with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% is due upon delivery and installation completion.
Lead times can be longer during peak renovation season (spring and fall) and shorter in winter. If you have a hard deadline tied to a home sale, renovation, or move-in date, let us know upfront so we can plan accordingly. We rarely take rush jobs, but we'll always be honest with you about what's possible.
Yes, and we enjoy these relationships when they're well-organized. We work with designers who are involved in the project from the start, who understand custom lead times, and who communicate client expectations clearly. About a third of our projects come through designer or contractor referrals.
For contractor relationships, we coordinate directly on rough-in dimensions, plumbing and electrical locations, and installation scheduling. We need minimum 72 hours' notice for installation days. We do not do same-week installs on active renovation sites without prior agreement in the contract.
You can bring your own pulls and knobs. We ask that you have them on-site before installation day so we can do the layout correctly. For soft-close hinges and drawer slides, we strongly prefer to supply our own Blum hardware. The quality is consistent, the installation is predictable, and we stand behind it under our lifetime structural warranty.
If you have a specific hardware line you love from Emtek, Rocky Mountain Hardware, or a similar brand, we can usually accommodate it. Talk to us during the design phase and we'll confirm compatibility before the build starts.
Our lifetime structural warranty covers defects in joinery, construction, and material failure under normal use. If a dovetail opens up, a drawer box fails at a joint, or a face frame separates from a cabinet box due to our workmanship, we come back and fix it at no charge. No time limit, no questions asked.
The warranty does not cover finish wear from normal use, hardware wear (hinges and slides have manufacturer warranties of their own), water damage from plumbing failures unrelated to our work, or damage from modifications made by others after installation. Cosmetic touch-ups to finish are available at our standard shop rate.
