We typically schedule new patients within one week. For urgent concerns like rapidly changing moles or severe skin reactions, we offer same-day or next-day appointments. Call our office directly for urgent scheduling.

Please bring your photo ID, insurance card, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records. If you have photos of a skin condition that comes and goes, those are extremely helpful. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, or download our forms online beforehand.

Cosmetic procedures like Botox, fillers, and chemical peels are generally not covered by insurance. Medical dermatology services, including skin cancer screenings, eczema treatment, and acne management, are typically covered. We'll clearly explain which services fall under medical versus cosmetic before any treatment begins.

We recommend annual full-body skin exams for all adults. If you have risk factors like a history of sunburns, fair skin, family history of melanoma, or many moles, you may benefit from more frequent screenings every 6 months. Your dermatologist will recommend a schedule based on your individual risk profile.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $50 fee. We understand that things come up, so just give us a call as soon as you know you need to change your appointment. There is no fee for your first late cancellation.
