Our bakers arrive at 3 AM every morning to mix, proof, fry, and glaze each donut by hand. Nothing sits overnight, and nothing comes frozen. When you walk through our door, you are getting donuts that were made just hours ago.
We source our flour from a local mill, use real butter and whole eggs in every batch, and make all our glazes and fillings from scratch. You will never find artificial flavors or preservatives in a Sugar Ring donut.
Our recipes started with Grandma Rosa in 1962. She believed a donut should make you close your eyes and smile. Three generations later, we are still following her original notes, right down to the pinch of nutmeg in the glaze.
