We started with two trucks and a handshake deal. Fourteen years later, we're still the same company — just bigger, faster, and with a lot more satisfied customers behind us.
BinDrop was started in 2011 by brothers Marco and Denny Reyes, both lifelong Chicagoans who grew up watching their father haul scrap on weekends to put food on the table. They understood how messy and expensive renovation cleanup could get, and how badly people just needed someone to show up and handle it.
They bought their first roll-off truck used out of Gary, Indiana, painted it yellow, and started knocking on doors in Logan Square and Pilsen. Word spread fast. They were on time, they charged exactly what they quoted, and they didn't leave a mess behind. Simple things that turned out to be rare.
Today BinDrop operates a full fleet of trucks and hundreds of dumpsters across the Chicago metro. Marco runs operations, Denny handles the driver team, and they still take calls themselves when things get busy. It's still a family business. That part hasn't changed.
We're not the only dumpster company in Chicago. But we like to think we're the most reliable one.
Order by 10am and we'll have a dumpster in your driveway the same day. No waiting a week for a confirmation that never comes. We pick up the phone and we show up.
The price we quote is the price you pay. No fuel surcharges tacked on at the last minute. No "environmental fees." No gotchas when we come to pick it up.
Standard rentals are one week. But renovation projects don't always stay on schedule. We offer extended rental periods at fair daily rates — just let us know upfront.
We use rubber track protectors on driveways, spot the bin exactly where you want it, and sweep up before we leave. Your driveway looks the same when we're done.
We know Chicago's permit requirements, neighborhood setback rules, and alley widths. If you need a street permit, we'll tell you exactly what to do — or pull it ourselves.
Everything we haul goes to licensed transfer stations and recycling facilities. We divert material from landfills where we can. Doing it the right way matters to us.
Our drivers and dispatch team are the reason customers call us back. They know the routes, they handle the customers right, and they take pride in the work.
Marco oversees dispatch, scheduling, and fleet maintenance. He built the routing system from scratch and still reviews every single-day delivery personally. Twenty years in logistics before BinDrop.
Denny drove the first BinDrop truck himself for three years before hiring a second driver. He trains every new driver and sets the standard for how a job gets done. Still jumps in the cab when the crew is short.
Priya handles quotes, permit applications, and customer coordination. She knows every Chicago ward's permit process by heart and has never missed a deadline. Customers love her.
Chicago has narrow alleys, heavy winters, and tight residential streets. Our equipment is chosen to handle all of it.
8 units. Handles all standard 10–30 yard container sizes. Equipped with rubber pad sets for driveway protection. GPS-dispatched for accurate ETAs.
2 units designed for tight alley access and narrow residential streets. Ideal for Chicago two-flats and courtyard buildings. Smaller turning radius, same capacity.
180+ containers across all sizes. Steel construction, reinforced side walls, and solid walk-in door options for large debris. Cleaned and inspected after every use.
BinDrop has partnered with Chicago neighborhood associations, local nonprofits, and community groups on over 200 cleanup events since 2015. We provide dumpsters at cost — or free — for block cleanups, community garden buildouts, and alley restoration projects.
We've worked with Logan Square Preservation, the Pilsen Alliance, and Chicago Cares to keep neighborhoods cleaner. If your group is organizing a cleanup event, reach out. We'll do what we can.
