Traditional Funeral & Burial

A traditional funeral provides family and friends the opportunity to gather, pay their respects, and begin the natural process of grieving together. It is a meaningful ritual with deep roots across almost every culture and faith tradition.

Full-Service Funeral with Visitation Includes visitation (one or two days), a formal ceremony in our chapel or your house of worship, and graveside committal. We coordinate with your clergy, florists, and cemetery.
Graveside Service A simple, intimate service held directly at the place of burial. Appropriate for smaller gatherings, or when the deceased has specific wishes for a quiet committal.
Church or Venue Funeral We bring our full expertise and support to your chosen venue—church, meeting hall, or family property. We handle all logistics so you don't have to.
Veteran & Military Honors We coordinate with military honor guards, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and local veteran organizations to ensure a proper and respectful service for those who served.
Casket Selection Our selection room features a range of caskets at a variety of price points. We present all options without pressure and will help you choose what feels appropriate.

Cremation Services

Cremation has become an increasingly common choice for families seeking a simpler, more flexible approach. We provide cremation services with the same dignity and care we bring to every arrangement—and we offer full transparency in our process and pricing.

Direct Cremation Our most affordable option. Cremation takes place without a prior formal service. The cremated remains are returned to the family in a dignified urn. A simple, private gathering or memorial may be held afterward at any time.
Cremation with Viewing Allows family and friends to gather for a traditional visitation or viewing before cremation takes place. Provides the emotional opportunity to say goodbye in person.
Memorial Service with Cremation A full celebration-of-life service held after cremation, with the urn present. This provides the same community gathering and ceremony as a traditional funeral, with the flexibility of timing cremation has.
Urn Selection We offer a thoughtful range of urns—wood, ceramic, biodegradable, and keepsake options. Our staff is happy to help you find something that fits the personality of your loved one.

All cremations are performed at our own facility by licensed crematory operators. We maintain a strict chain-of-identification process so families always have confidence and certainty.

Free Planning Consultation Our initial pre-planning consultation is completely free and carries no obligation. We answer your questions, share pricing information, and give you time to decide what's right for you.
Transferable Plans If you move out of the area, your pre-arranged plan is fully transferable to another funeral home. Your investment is never locked to a location.

Grief Support

Care That Continues After the Service

At Evergreen, we believe our responsibility to families doesn't end when the service is over. Grief is a long journey, and we want to walk alongside you for as much of it as we can.

One-Year Family Follow-Up We check in with every family we serve at key intervals during the first year—one month, six months, and around significant anniversaries. We're here to listen and connect you with resources.
Grief Support Groups We host free community grief groups at our chapel twice monthly, facilitated by our licensed grief counselor. Open to anyone who has experienced a loss, not only families we've served.
Counselor Referrals When individual counseling is appropriate, we maintain relationships with licensed therapists throughout the Dayton area who specialize in grief and bereavement.
Children & Teen Grief Resources Helping children understand loss requires special care. We provide age-appropriate resources and refer families to specialized counselors who work specifically with young people.
