Questions about catering, custom cakes, allergens, or just want to tell us what flavor you want to see next? We're happy to hear from you.
For catering inquiries, fill out the event details below and we'll get back to you within one business day. For general questions, just leave the event fields blank.
Here are the questions we get most often. If yours isn't here, just ask.
Yes, with important caveats. We make all of our products in a shared kitchen where dairy, tree nuts (pecans, pistachios), peanuts, wheat (waffle cones and brownie crust), and eggs are all present. We cannot guarantee any product is completely free from cross-contamination.
That said, we do offer dairy-free sorbets that are made without cream or milk: Lemon Basil Sorbet, Blood Orange Sorbet, Coconut Lime Sorbet, and Watermelon Sorbet (seasonal). These do not contain dairy by recipe but are made in the same facility. Please let us know about any severe allergies when you visit and we can help you choose safely.
Cake orders require at least one week's notice (10 days for large sheet cakes). You can order by calling us at (555) 847-2293 or sending an email to hello@scoopsandswirls.com. When you order, let us know:
We require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering. The balance is due at pickup. We do not deliver cakes — all cakes must be picked up at the shop. We'll box them carefully for transport.
For most events, we ask for at least 2 weeks notice. For large events (150+ guests), weddings, or events during peak season (May through September), we recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance. We book up quickly in summer, so the earlier the better.
To check availability for your event date, use the contact form above or call us directly. We'll let you know within one business day if your date is open. A 25% deposit holds your date while we finalize the details.
We serve Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Tybee Island, Bluffton SC, and surrounding areas within 60 miles. Events outside Chatham County may include travel fees.
Patty introduces a new seasonal flavor around the first of each month. Seasonal flavors are available while supplies last — some last the whole month, some sell out in a week. It depends on demand and ingredient availability.
The best way to know what's current is to follow us on Instagram (@scoopsandswirls_savannah) where we post the daily board every morning. We also send monthly email updates to our subscriber list with new seasonal flavor announcements and early-order opportunities for cakes featuring the seasonal flavor.
Our general seasonal calendar:
Yes, it's really free. A Pup Cup is a small paper cup of plain vanilla soft serve sized just right for a dog. We've been giving them away since the day we opened. It started because Patty's dog Biscuit used to sit outside the shop looking heartbroken every time a human walked out with a cone.
Our patio is fully dog-friendly — leashed dogs are always welcome at the outdoor tables. We keep water bowls out on warm days. The Pup Cup is available during all open hours, one per dog per visit. No purchase necessary, though we're always happy when you treat yourself too.
Plain vanilla soft serve is generally safe for most dogs in small amounts, but please consult your vet if your dog has specific dietary concerns.
No reservation needed. Just show up. We're open seven days a week and we always save room for one more customer.
