Common questions
Your items are consigned for 90 days. After that, they're either returned to you (let us know at least a week before the end of your term) or donated to one of our nonprofit partners. We'll remind you via email before the period ends.
Payouts go out on the 15th of each month for all sales from the prior calendar month. So if your item sells on March 5th, you'll receive payment on April 15th. You can choose check by mail or ACH direct deposit.
Our buyers set all prices based on research, condition, and what the market will bear. We do this to keep our floor competitive and ensure items move within the consignment window. If an item is particularly valuable (jewelry, art, rare furniture), we'll always discuss with you before tagging it.
Items are discounted 25% at 60 days and 40% at 90 days. If they still haven't sold by the end of your 90-day term, you can pick them up or choose to donate them to our nonprofit partners. We'll email you at 80 days to confirm your preference.
Almost everything is consignment. For estate clearouts, we sometimes offer a hybrid: consignment for the pieces most likely to sell at full price, and a flat buyout for bulk lower-value items. We'll walk you through the options during the walkthrough.
Yes. We don't accept particle board furniture, mattresses, children's safety items, large appliances, heavily worn or damaged clothing, or holiday decor. See our full list on the Shop & Consign page. When in doubt, email us first — we'd rather turn something down over email than have you haul it to the shop unnecessarily.
For lots under 20 items, no appointment is needed. Just show up during drop-off hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm. For larger lots (21 or more items) or furniture, please contact us first so we can plan space and staffing.
Yes. Every consignor gets access to a simple online portal where you can see your active inventory, recent sales, and pending payout balance. You'll receive the login details by email when your items hit the floor for the first time.
