Our Story
TreadMax started in 2008 when Mike Treadwell left his job at a corporate tire chain because he was tired of watching good people get sold things they didn't need. He opened a two-bay shop on Motor Ave with one goal: do the right job at the right price and let the work speak for itself.
The first year was lean. Word of mouth was slow. But every customer who came in left knowing exactly what they paid for and why. That reputation spread, and the phone started ringing.
Today, TreadMax operates a 6-bay facility with a team of five full-time technicians. We've installed over 40,000 tires, serviced thousands of brakes, and earned a 4.9-star Google rating with over 800 reviews. The shop is bigger, but the approach hasn't changed.
We still explain every repair before we touch a wrench. We still price the job, not the customer. And we still think the best advertising is a customer who comes back.
